I have been modeling since the age of 16. But I only started taking it serious two years ago. At first, I was just fooling around, I didn't think big. But when girls in our society began to appreciate what I was doing, that was when I knew I could be an example. "An example of empowering girls to achieve whatever dreams and goals they dream of. "Even though we live in Hong Kong, and so many of us are third culture kids, but the old stubborn conservative beliefs are still holding us back. Ignoring them I kept on doing what I loved. Yes, there was a struggle. It was tough for me to manage studies, working, house chores, gym, and my passion.

There are times when negative thoughts consume me, such as why didn't I take this seriously earlier? Do I not have the right look, height, or figure? To the point, I told myself just fuck it and go get a proper job. I was very also disheartened because I applied to every agency in Hong Kong but never heard a reply from them. That made me wonder what quality am I lacking? Is it just me, or is it the modeling industry of Hong Kong, doesn't see the beauty of a woman of color? But then I remind myself all the time, I came this far without anyone's help so why should I stop now? So far I’ve managed to do shoots for brands, magazines such as hype beast and Harper Bazaar. And have even been casted as the main actress for a local movie. This is a milestone. I should keep going!

Brown girl wisdom words:

- don't give up!

- hold on tight to your dream!

- don't give a shit about what other people say, cuz those people are too "vele"(free). - you do you, be unique!

- love yourself the way you are

- don’t limit yourself!
